A restaurant that makes you happy! The four of us had an appointment to have dinner in the country kitchen on October 25th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. We reserved the table a few days earlier by phone. You can park both behind the house and in the street in front of the restaurant. At the latest on the nearby market square, non-locals will also find a comfortable parking space. The restaurant is lit extremely stylishly from the outside and at the latest when you enter you feel comfortable and in good hands from the start. The all-round coordinated and attentive service is perfect from the first second. The wine list and the menu offer only regional and upscale highlights. The price-performance ratio is outstanding! Cleanliness and hygiene also match the high standard. The corporate identity of the “Country Kitchen” label also fits the upper class and adorns wine glasses and bottles - something like this shows professionalism! But at the latest when you see the food on the table in front of you, the aroma of a perfect wine, the fun really begins. Always a highlight in terms of taste, excellently prepared, sufficiently large portions and also a feast for the eyes - this is how one imagines gastronomy and turns a dinner into an experience. Chapeau to Albrecht Land and his team. Great and definitely always worth a visit!

Very good food. Splendorhahn and very tasty risotto and beef cheeks with sweet potato puree. The chef knows what cooking to the highest standards is, which you don't find that much anymore. The dessert of caramelized plums on caramel ice cream with crumbles was exceptionally tasty. We drive for it.

We had a very nice birthday evening in the country kitchen in Daun, with very good food, suitable wines and very attentive staff. I can only recommend this restaurant.

It was our first time eating there today and we really enjoyed it. Attentive staff and a chef who knows his craft made the evening a successful evening. The main course and the dessert fit as well as the wine recommendation. If the whole package of taste and service fits, then I like to pay something more. Thank you was fun
